For the the 14th installment of my annual Backyard BBQ mix series, I wanted to create a limited edition cassette, the first medium I fell in love with as a young music lover. There is something nostalgic and visceral about popping in a tape to let a whole side play through. It seemed like it would be a natural fit for a mix such as this, and the project allowed me to try my hand at packaging a product I've worked on every year for nearly a decade and a half in a new and interesting way.
